Exhibitions

The FLUXUS+ museum offers temporary exhibitions of work by various artists as well as its own permanent exhibition.

Fluxus as well as modern art set the tone for the programme. Famous national and international artists such as Emmett Williams, Gisela Schlicht, Ann Noël, Ben Patterson, Wolfgang Hainke, Eric Anderson and Lutz Friedel exhibited their works here. Some of the art works were available for purchase.

Temporary exhibitions

The atrium as a flexible action space of over 100 m² is our most important interface between the different arts. Temporary exhibitions, of contemporary art, often independent of the building’s Fluxus profile, are mounted here, frequently in combination with performances. In the same way, works are shown by artists who already have work in the permanent collection, and also new approaches. The linking theme amidst all this variety is openness to new directions in art.

Art finds space here that liberates itself from established conventions, that operates by eying this world inquisitively. Museum FLUXUS+’s openness show not least in its wide range of co-operations with institutions involved in culture on the spot. Guest performance from the fields of dance and theatre also take place in the atrium against this background. Information about past exhibitions you can find in the review.
